First day of Spring and NYC is hit with a snow storm… talk about luck. However, once upon a dream, the first day of Spring would include this ensemble. A dark core that begins to open up in shades of gray; almost mirroring a flower budding, slowly, getting ready to bloom to a beautiful white. It may be obvious, or not, about my passion for black. There is rarely a time where you’d catch me without some form of black (like my soul, hah!).
The center of my outfit is actually two pieces of clothing: a lace halter and a black cotton pencil skirt. I’m wearing a long gray and black hooded cardigan with a tribal design embedded in the pattern. The material is so versatile because of its softness and stretchy nature. The choker you see on my neck is of a flower (in honor of Spring) with a white pearl-like center. I really like how tribal the petals looked and the neutral colors just went so well with the look I wanted to achieve. Of course, I’m wearing my trusty Sam Edelman booties. I can never go wrong with them.
