Natural colors to bring out Fall vibes
As you all know, I pretty much stick to the basic minimalist black, white, and gray with occasional pops of color. I did claim that I would try sprucing up my wardrobe selection, so I decided to pick this warm, natural color for Fall. It was really hard to ignore the black option LOL, but I did it!
I’m definitely happy that I opted for this burnt sand color instead of black! It’s such a change and adds a lot of natural warmth to the overall outfit. I got this top from Tictail and fell in love with it because of its silky material and the neckline detail! The small cut out really brings more life into the top since it strays from the typical turtle neck style. It also sort of mimics the idea of a choker. The top is also a short sleeve, so luckily this day was actually Fall weather and not Winter (crazy bipolar NY weather).
To make this natural color pop, I paired it with black, of course. I styled high waisted black jeans from Zara and a leather jacket from White House Black Market. I also threw on leather boots from Thursday Boots. They are the most comfortable boots ever! I think the best part is that it was also made for lazy people since it has a zipper LOL.
To tie the look together, I included this Dooney & Bourke bag in a natural color to compliment my top. Believe it or not, I actually opted to get this natural color versus black haha! It was a huge mental battle because black is classic and goes with everything, but I convinced myself to step out of my comfort zone and go for the natural – especially for Fall. I believe I made the right choice because this natural color is so beautiful! Can’t go wrong at all.
