My Updated Skincare Routine

Jenn Hanft's Skincare Routine

As the seasons change, so does skincare routines. I’m sharing with y’all my updated skin regimen debuting new products that I currently love. If you want to snag a quick peek at my original post, see how my routine has changed: My Everyday Skincare Routine.

Skincare Routine: CeraVe Makeup Removing Cleasing Cloths

Skincare Routine Step #1

CeraVe makeup wipes! These are a huge lifesaver. Not only are they gentle and super hydrating, they also work really well! I’ve had my fair share of wipes that only get a surface clean, but these babies really get down and dirty – clearing out all the makeup and grime from the day’s wear. My only warning is to not go too intense with your eyes (if you’re wearing any makeup). I’ve made that mistake before and my eyes suffered a bit of a burning sensation.

Skincare Routine: Biore Baking Soda Acne Cleasing Foam

Skincare Routine Step #2

Bioré’s acne foam cleanser is the bomb diggity! I consider the cleansing wipes to be the “pre-cleanse” and this to be the actual cleanse. The great thing about foam cleansers are that you get a cushy feel to applying the cleanser to your face – and it makes cleansing ten times more fun! The smell is fruity and reminds me of the Flinstone’s vitamins that I used to have when I was a kid LOL. The formula itself is super hydrating and feels great against the skin. After one use, you can immediately feel that your skin is squeaky clean, firmer, and tighter. I’m not really acne prone, but this cleanser helps keep my skin in check to prevent from any breakouts!

Skincare Routine: Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Soothing Treatment Lotion

Skincare Routine Step #3

Origins Treatment Lotion which is basically equivalent to a really hydrating toner, is the best on the shelves because of its ingredients. This liquid lotion is jam packed with three types of mushrooms, which are superfoods, that help reduce redness, clear and soothe skin, and kick up skins’ resilience. If you have dry, sensitive skin then this is the perfect toner for you because it will make your skin soft and also help reduce breakouts! The formula is very lightweight and certainly does the job.

Skincare Routine: IOPE Enlivening Contour Serum

Skincare Routine Step #4

This IOPE serum is heavenly!!! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’ve mentioned this serum before. Although the Instagram mention was a sponsored post, I actually really adore this product, which is why I’m sharing it in today’s post (which btw none of it is sponsored). The formula is uniquely bouncy, super hydrating, and smooth. It has anti-aging properties as well as works to brighten and firm skin. I think my favorite part of this brand is that IOPE is a brand built on innovative plant science so it uses natural ingredients to create all of its products. That’s how I’m super confident that this will only benefit my skin.

Skincare Routine: Immunocologie Eye Contour Serum

Skincare Routine Step #5

IMMUNOCOLOGIE eye serum is one of the best eye serums around. It helps tighten and reduce wrinkles around the eye. I know – I’m too “young” to start worrying about wrinkles, but they say to start age-defying products in your 20s to act as prevention, so I’m here preventing the inevitable haha! This brand uses Vital Oligo Science to cultivate its products. Natural ingredients are the way to go – and your skin will thank ya for it.

Skincare Routine: Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer

Skincare Routine Step #6

Dr. Jart+ Water Drop is such a unique moisturizer due to its formula. It comes out as an opaque paste, but once you start rubbing it in your hands it transforms to a clear, liquid state that really feels like water. Because of this alone, it is so fun to put on after all the previous steps. It’s something that feels really satisfying to the face because it’s not only lightweight, but it’s also filled with moisture that it’s impossible to not feel hydrated afterward. And yes, this is a sample size. Don’t judge.

Skincare Routine: Burt's Bees Night Cream with Royal Jelly Skin Nourishment

Skincare Routine Step #7 (night only)

Before I go to sleep, I slather on Burt’s Bees Night Cream. The formula is a little on the heavy side but it feels so good as a last step for the face before sleeping. The cream itself is so silky smooth that it glides onto the face and really provides that extra cushion layer of moisture. I find that whenever I use this cream, I wake up with my face feeling plump, smooth, and just happy glowing. Highly recommend, especially since Burt’s Bees natural products are always amazing.

  1. I am a skincare fanatic and I see so many new skincare options I need to try this summer! I have had my eyes on that IOPE serum and it’s good to know you love it so much. Maybe it will work some wonders for my dry skin!

  2. These skincare products sound amazing. I have something similar to the Biore baking soda cleanser, but I mix it with water and it becomes like a paste. So it’s dry which is perfect for traveling. I want to check out that eye serum!

  3. Beautiful skin definitely does require a commitment! Thanks for sharing and I love your photos of these products, gotta try some of them!
