Not sure what it is, maybe the weather or just the aesthetic, but I’ve been really digging Monochromatic Mondays. With the weather getting colder, I’ve recently taken to wearing baggy or oversized things. Y’all already know sweater weather is almost here. You can never go wrong with mesh to spice things up. I’ve been obsessed with this mesh bomber from Míshi New York. Simplicity is bliss.
I love how this look can go the streetwear chic route or the sporty chic route. Versatile pieces are definitely my thing and this bomber totally delivers. The mesh material allows air to move through freely so you always have room to breath. I love getting larger sizes in things since we’re getting cooler so I feel more free.
Pockets are HUGE when it comes to jackets, so I’m glad there’s plenty of room to store things in there (and zippers are always a plus). The collar, trim, and sleeves are accented with white and grey stripes that definitely add a bit of color (monochrome baby!) and dimension! Details are always key and simplicity is bliss.
Míshi New York is a brand founded by Michelle Kim, based in the heart of New York City. She’s an up and coming designer who loves playing with mesh and chiffon pieces. Her aesthetic is minimalistic and sleek. Definitely check her out for more cool pieces 🙂
To dress up the entire look, I threw on my calvin’s for a dash of sporty and these mesh detailed pants from Nün Bangkok for an added touch. I love the high waisted aspect of the pants and the mesh trim! Mesh for days in this look. With a white stripe on the in-line and the white/grey stripe details on the bomber, I figured my adidas would go perfectly.
