As anyone could guess by now, black is literally my favorite color to wear every season. But what caught me with this look is the lace. I surprisingly don’t own that many lace things, mainly because I’m extremely clumsy and all the lace items I’ve had somehow ripped or teared and literally left me devastated. So I tend to stray from all things lace, but I just couldn’t refuse this unique top because it just called my name.
This top is from SheIn and you can find it right here. It’s styled as a camisole with a deep v-neck cut. The V is masked with detailed lace which gives it such a classy chic look. The material has a nice silky touch which makes it even more comfortable on the skin to wear. The back has a nice caged design though I didn’t get to capture it.
I decided to go the all black route to make my life easier and since I’ve been obsessed with culottes lately, I figured I’d throw some on. I really love how much room you have to breathe with a wide pant leg. It’s funny because my mom actually made a comment on how she used to wear them all the time. Isn’t it interesting how fashion trends repeat themselves?
Accessories wise I had to include my Jord watch to give it a nice little pop of color for the fall (since I looove burgundy). I also included a necklace and bracelet set of black rope and white pearl like beads. I figured that it made the look a little more classic.
Lastly, I put on these lovely sandals from Sam Edelman (c/o of ShopStyle back at NYFW). The lace up design definitely went well with the lace top, don’t ya think?
