We’re slowly transitioning into the Fall and I love how effortless and chic a t-shirt dress can be for a look. You must be thinking, you did basics already – we’ve seen this. And yeah, you’re right, but I love them too much to ever let them go. SO spreading the word, and love, doesn’t hurt. Right? I added a different touch here: a top knot! This style works well with lobs, but I’ve never done it. Particularly because I don’t like stuntin’ with my hair up, or in a bun since I have fair hair, but I decided to give it a shot. I like it! It might not be a go-to style, but definitely presents something different to the table.
I’m not going to get into why I love basics or t-shirt dresses any more than I already have (not trying to bore you). So, I’ll talk about why I love this dress in particular.
I love the front slit. That’s something I haven’t seen before on a dress since majority of the slits usually come on the side. Of course, this was something that piqued my interests right off the bat. I also love how soft and thin the material is. I’m not exactly sure what it is, but it gives a different feel than the cotton dress I showed off earlier. The last thing is the style. It has a slight v-neck and a poncho styled torso which I found super cute and unique!
You can already guess where I got this too…H&M’s Basics section. Believe it or not, this particular dress runs HUGE! I had to get an XS and it’s still really large on me (which I like because it allows me the freedom to move around and have space to breathe).
Throw on a choker and some wedges and you’re golden! I decided to use my suede Na-kd Fashion choker to tie a bow as a small touch of cute. Did it do any justice?
Remember, comfort above all! I can’t wait for autumn foliage and sweater weather. I’m already beginning to feel that cool fall breeze and I’m absolutely loving it! Bring on the layers, I’m so ready!
