Denim Styles and Button Crazy

By Posted on

I’ve heard of Zara, seen Zara, and passed by Zara. I’ve never actually stepped inside Zara until recently and oh…my…goodness. Have I really missed out this long? That’s how I discovered that denim was becoming more of a thing, especially since it was literally everywhere.

I remember how fashionable denim was when I was younger. I had jackets of all colors: white, pink, baby blue, navy blue, straight denim, distressed denim, black, and the list goes on. Between overalls and shorts and just plain jeans, it was crazy. I think I even had a denim purse LOL.

Anyway it’s so nice to see a flash of childhood come back, like memories pouring in swarming you in nostalgia, but reality at the same time.

So this isn’t actually denim, but this little number has that nice denim but not denim look. It’s blue, with white stripes running down. Maybe it’s just the blue that got me and I just recently started getting into dresses (just in time for Summer) so I found the length, color and style perfect. The material was so flexible and I really liked the button down look. And the buttons just never end. The straps are a bit too long for me, so I need to get that fixed but overall it’s a score in my book!

Paired it off with this nice choker to have a little somethin’ somethin’ for the bare neck. I honestly don’t know where it’s from, since my mom gifted it to me, but isn’t it cute?

Stay gold, ponyboy.

Oh and the sandals are from JustFab. Super comfy with a little heel and gold accent as a nice touch. Can you believe I got a sandal tan right after this shoot? C R A Z Y !
